Reading Haftarah From A Kosher Klaf Is Making A Comeback:
Many minyonim read the haftarah from a klaf. The proper way to read haftarah from a kosher klaf is to have each sefer written in its entirety. This means that you would need to have a complete sefer Yeshayahu, Trei Asar, etc. as opposed to having all of the haftaros written on one long klaf. In the pictures below, you will see an example of the navi Yeshayahu mounted on an eitz chaim, a mantel with custom lettering, and memorial plates that mount onto the eitz chaim. There are many ways to customize the mantel. What you see here is a simple straight forward design. More elaborate designs are available. The eitz chaim is also a simple design. Some of the more expensive designs have silver covering part of the wood. The price range for Sefer Yeshayahu with the type of eitz chaim and mantel that you see here is between $4500 and $5000. This price is for a complete package which includes all that you see here. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have about Navi on klaf.
